PartPerfect - PartPerfect is going to St. Louis with new features and platforms

I’m excited to be supporting the Barbershop Harmony Society’s (BHS) International Convention in St. Louis this year from June 28 to July 5. Look for us on the Jumbotron screens during the competition and shows. We’ve still got our introductory pricing for all of the apps, but just a heads up that I will be raising the prices slightly after the convention, so tell your singing peeps to get it while it’s still discounted!

What’s new with PartPerfect

Thanks for all the feature suggestions. I’ve taken many of them on board; here’s a few recent improvements:

Saved sessions. There’s a new tab in the library that saves all of your recording sessions so you can go back and revisit old recordings
Crop brackets now available on the recording tab. Now you can make a recording against a learning track, crop it and analyze or share just that cropped portion
Share your score. Fun scoring graphics that you can share with your fellow singers (it’s not a competition though… or is it?)
Variable slow speed. Now you can use the turtle icon to slow it down just as much as you need to

PartPerfect XL

If that’s not enough, PartPerfect is now available on your Mac.

Introducing PartPerfect XL in the Mac App Store. It has all the features of the PartPerfect app with more real estate on the Mac - great for a desktop recording session. You can also select your input mic in settings, to get a better quality recording from a dedicated Mac compatible external microphone.

I’m convinced that PartPerfect is the best way to accurately learn your part from a dual-channel learning track; but it only works if you have the app set up correctly!

That means making sure that your headphones are synced and you are using the balance and recording levels correctly. I’ll admit that there is a little bit of a learning curve for this. I’ve put together some video guides that walk you through how to use PartPerfect.
